Photos

This is one of the oldest cemeteries in Iowa County, probably established around 1860. A group of Scotish immigrants moved to the area and had a small community including a church and school. There were at least 60 burials in the cemetery at one time. It was poorly maintained for several years, but is now very well maintained. It is off the road about 1/2 mile, but there is a drive leading to it and a sign on the road to indicate its location. The burials listed here are all that remain marked. There are a few broken stones in a small area that cannot be read. The stones that do remain are, for the most part, in very good condition.
