This was the first cemetery in this area and was on property originally laid out by Waldo as the Meeting House Lot. The First Presbyterian Church was located between the cemetery and the river. Evidently there are dozens of graves unmarked, marked with fieldstones or with stones missing. Probably used from 1736 until the town cemetery was started about 1792.
