Daughter of Gerald Dean & (Alta) Lavonne (Kidd) Clements, step daughter of Thomas R Humphrey and Marjorie (Burley) Tolle-Clements. My parents came from the Clements/Spaeter-Kalbach line and the Kidd/Mitchell-Batton line. This journey began looking for notorious ancestors. I have found much more than I bargained for, in that respect!

I have photos and records of a large amount of family on both sides, but neither parent maintained close ties to family outside of my hometown (but for a very few), at least in my formative years. Attempting to find & reconnect with family has led me to genealogy research, and, of course, to this site.

Any "professional" photos I have posted there, I have obtained a release for, or have researched and found the original poster and received permission of use.

Memorials I manage at this time are either family or friends as close as family, but for one (research found that he was different by one year of birth from my cousin's husband - his memorial is here if/when his people come looking). Memorials are my way of keeping family together so as to remember them as a group.
I am more than willing to transfer any memorial in my keeping per Find a Grave guidelines; it isn't about how many memorials managed, for me, it is about making sure family stays connected. Any family member with a closer tie than I is welcome to request management; I check e-mail daily, and check this site several times a week.

Memorials that are missing information but not under my management may be addressed by contacting the memorial manager at the bottom of each memorial page.
