Bio

Hello! This screen name is for PAT's family and is managed by me for many members of my Allen, Meyers, Kegler, Boughner and related families. My daughter, grandddaughter and son in law work on the biographical information with me. Additional memorials for our family are managed by Evey and Tom (linked below as accounts I am "following").

*About our family*
My husband, Donald Edward PARK, inspired us to discover our family history. He was our guide to the past, from exploring time-worn cemeteries to examining dusty documents. Three generations of our family are involved in this hunt... and we have introduced each new in-law to the enhanced appreciation that comes with experiencing history through graving.

*Spotlight on history*
I invite you to read about my father PFC Henry H. ALLEN Jr. (a tank instructor and marksman with the Army), and my cousin James Frank "Snubs" TAYLOR (a survivor of the Bataan Death March).

Memorials for other family members who served our country are linked on the profile pages for Evey and Tom (linked below).

*A note about images and biographies*
Here are the guidelines for using images and information we posted at Find-A-Grave:

(1) Photo of grave: These may be used anywhere. Please include photo credit.

(2) Biography, caption or photo of person(s): These may be used for educational or historical preservation purposes ONLY in non-profit circumstances. Please note that Ancestry.com is not a non-profit website. Full and proper credit must be included.

Permission is NOT granted for publication of biographies or photographs on Wiki or other collaborative content websites, as it would be impossible to monitor for continuing accuracy. Thank you for your cooperation.

(3) Document: Many documents we have uploaded were scanned from originals held by the family. If an image is clearly scanned from an original, please DO NOT share it elsewhere. However, any image that has clearly come from a public database may be shared, as it is already within the public domain.

*A note about transfers*
All memorials managed by this account are family members. If you request management of a memorial for an ancestor who is not in our direct line, we will only transfer it within the guidelines set forth by FindAGrave. Current guidelines state: Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships. If your relationship cannot be documented within these parameters, please do not request a transfer. Thank you.
