Born in Ulverstone and now retired and returned. I am in full appreciation of the efforts of the Friends of the Ulverstone General Cemetery. In order to help them I will be finding and cleaning the headstones of my Mother's family. Find a grave helped me see the headstone of two uncles I was visiting last week. In the cemetery I saw some people looking for a grave. I used Find a Grave to locate their family members and they took a photo of my search result and went off very happy.
I am now checking other uncles and aunts and I will clean the headstones.
I have been finding family members on findagrave.com and I have enjoyed linking them together. Volunteers are out taking photos of some of the grave headstones for me. I am very grateful.
