If you're a graver in Texas, please consider also uploading your images to the Texas Gravestone Photo Project! The more we can help, the better!

If I have made a memorial for a relative of yours, please let me know. I will be happy to transfer it to you within Find A Grave's guidelines as long as it is not someone in my own extended family.

Headstone dates of birth and death can be unreliable at times, especially on older graves. So can the dates of birth on the death certificates. I've seen them be off by as much as 15 years. Because of this I will go by the date of birth listed on official documents such as birth certificates/records, baptismal records, naturalization records (when available), and WW1 and WW2 Draft cards, even over the death certificate.

The date of death I will take from the death certificate (when available) over the headstone and/or Social Security Death Index. For older deaths, the SSDI is often incorrect when it comes to the date and sometimes even place of death, but if I have nothing else I will use it if it is available.

Please feel free to use and share my Find-A-Grave photos.

Also, if you follow yourself when messing about with your settings, you can't unfollow yourself.
