Find a Grave ID

Bio

I am researching and photographing the Bundaberg General Cemetery so that the Find a Grave memorials are as complete and as accurate as possible. Hoping that this will make it easier for future family history researchers. I am working through them from the earliest burials. This should keep me busy for quite some time:)

I am also photographing and GPS marking all the unmarked graves at the Bundaberg General Cemetery.

I spend many hours researching the memorials using multiple sources such as (but not limited to) Familysearch, Ancestry, Trove, BDM indexes, burial registers, etc.

I enjoy this platform because we can all contribute and collaborate to make one memorial as accurate and complete as can be.

I welcome edits to my memorials and will not decline a suggestion until I have researched it thoroughly. If I cannot find evidence to support the edit I will contact you to have a chat and ask that your evidence be shared with me. Communication is key. If after this process I do chose to decline your suggested edit I will share with you my reasons for doing so.

At this point in time, I am frustrated with the cards that my Aunty Alison has given to Familysearch as they have been listed as burial cards - they are not! They are simply family index cards created using various sources.
