TRANSFER REQUESTS: Put the words, "FIND A GRAVE TRANSFER" (ALL CAPS) in subject line subject line so I'm likely to see it, and state reason for requesting transfer, and your relationship to the deceased. I'm willing to transfer memorials who are not my relatives to a close relative of the deceased.

My family roots go back to Fairfax County, Colony of Virginia, British North America in 1670. That Ancestor was John Ball, Sr. who married Winifred Williams. I'm also descended from Jeremiah Randolph Laswell (1800-1841), who I need to do more work with to confirm earlier family members. Other important family names include Dean, Clark, and Williams.
I have been working on our family genealogies for several years, off and on. Right now, I am very interested in learning about those family members who have a military background. For instance, I have found family members who fought for the Continental Line in the Revolutionary War and for both sides in the Civil War. Anyone who has served in our countries Armed Forces is of particular interest to me. And by the way, I'm a vet too!
