Genealogy became an obsession/hobby for me shortly after I bought my first iPad and downloaded the free Ancestry app on a whim one evening, sometime around 2010 or 2011. I started adding what I knew about my family and then turned to my mom to add in all the information she'd already been gathering for several years. Now genealogy has become our biggest thing to bond around. Outside of genealogy research, I enjoy crochet and knitting, and I'm exploring other creative endeavors with sewing and paper crafting. I love to go camping and I'm an avid reader. Career-wise I'm a public health social worker, a massage therapist, and soon-to-be computer programmer (yes, I know, that's a lot of things).
