Bio

My Grandmother always told me stories about our family and those who were our friends and neighbors. She had a story for every occasion, whether I needed a hug or a spanking. This led to my love of history, especially biographies.
I learned how families and neighbors worked together to both enjoy life and make life easier for each other.

Of course, history is just another name for genealogy. In addition to the names, dates and places, I need to know how their lives were lived, their talents and dreams.

So far, most of the ones on Find A Grave that I have either added or manage are my family or close friends.
If there are any stories out there about the Stringer White family who migrated from Scotland, to Ireland, then to Manchester, England and finally sailing into NY, I would like to hear them. I am just as interested in the lives of my other surnames which include: Alexander, Brady/Braddy, Barnhill, Britt, Newby and Reeder.

On many of my memorials, I have tried to incorporate history into their biographies in order to give a better description of the person's life, their struggles and their accomplishments. If you find my biographies helpful, please let me know. If you use my biographies on this or any other site, please give me credit.

By working together, we can help our children remember their ancestors.

Thank you so much.
