Bio

I have been chasing and researching my ancestors since the 1960's. My grandmother Jessie Eliza Whitaker Greer first captured my interest in learning family history with her intriguing stories of wagons, Indians, hard work, family life, and the railroad. I wish I could have held on to all of those wonderful stories but some have faded from memory over time.

I enjoy finding relatives and homes for some of the memorials I manage. I am not concerned if you are not a direct relative; if you care enough to want to manage a memorial then I honor that. If you see a memorial you would like transferred, I am more than happy to do so, just put in the request via the "Suggested Edit" option and indicate that you would like a transfer. (Will transfer memorials except those who are my family or close to my heart - unless you were closer). Also, to expedite edits please use the EDIT tab that Find a Grave provides on each memorial. "Suggested corrections" should be used for transfer requests or other edits that are not options under the EDIT tab.

If one could make alive again for other people some cobwebbed skein of old dead intrigues and breathe breath and character into dead names and stiff portraits. That is history to me! --George Macaulay Trevelyan
