Mabel Fowler

Mrs. Bill Fowler. 84, died May 7, 1992, at the Heritage Manor. Mrs, Fowler was a former resident of Broadview Towers and a longtime Emporia resident.

Mabel Cox, the daughter of Burt and Amanda Edwards Cox, was born March 7, 1908, at Crane, Mo.

Two sons, Lee Roy Rhoads and John McClintick; two brothers and one sister died earlier.

She attended church at the Salvation Army.

Survivors include five sons, Sam D. Rhoads Jr., James Rhoads and Robert Fowler, all of Emporia, Alfred McClintick of Wichita and Harold G. McClintick of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Alice Richardson of Costa Mesa, Calif.; Leota Anspaugh of Clinton, Mo., and Iola Waymire, address unavailable; two step-sons, Chester Fowler and Ivan Fowler of Emporia; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Leonard Wagner of the Church of God of Prophecy will conduct the service.
