Funeral services for Mrs. W. W.
Weatherford, of Poynor, who died Thursday night
at a local hospital, were held Saturday afternoon
at 2:30 o'clock at Poynor.

The services were conducted by the
Rev. John Duckett, pastor of the Fundamental
Baptist Church, with burial following in the Poynor cemetery,
Carroll & Lehr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weatherford was born on March 28, 1883, in Ripley,
Mississippi, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. G. D. Feagin.
She was Miss Ida Pearl Feagin before her marriage to W.W.
Weatherford on Sept. 14, 1900. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Weatherford moved to Poynor about four months ago
from Murchison, Rt.1, She & Mr. Weatherford had lived in this
section of Henderson Co., for the past forty years.

Suriving are her husband: four sons: J.M. Weatherford, of Chandler; W.R. Weatherford, of Seagoville; John Weatherford, of Orange; C.E.Weatherford, of Corsicana; five daughters:
Mrs. Ruth Henderson, of Velasco; Mrs. Bertha Hart, of Chandler; Mrs. Lillie Phillips, of Corsicana; & Mrs. Ruby Benson & Mrs. Lena Pruett, of California; two brothers, Ed Feagin, of Edom, & John Feagin, of Dekalb; & one sister, Mrs. Clara Taylor of Edom.
