Hershel F. Weatherford of Waco, a truck driver, died Sunday at a Temple Hospital.
Services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. E.J.Culp officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery.
Mr. Weatherford was born January 1 1910 in Kemp, Texas and attended school there. He was a Veteran of WWII and married Hazel Ellis in 1945.
He had worked for Texas Concrete and Plantation Foods as a truck driver. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters,Edna Mae Banks of Brownwood and Karen Lynn Burch of Teague, four sons, James Earl Weatherford of Dallas, Doyle Lee Bryan and John Wesley Weatherford both of Waco and Larry Fred Weatherford of Manhattan, Kansas; five sister;Ruth Henderson of Clute, Lillie Phillips of George West; Ruby Allison of Teague, Bertha Carroll of Gladewater and Lena Durden of Murchison; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
