Roger A. Trujillo, age 59, was born and raised in Coyote, NM and a longtime resident of Rio Rancho, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at his home in Rio Rancho. Roger was a loving and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law. Roger was also a great friend to many people and was the type of person who easily made friends, it didn't matter if he knew you for five minutes or five years, you became his instant friend. Roger was the first born son and the fourth child of fourteen. Roger is survived by his beloved wife of forty years, Cora, children, Matthew Trujillo and his wife, Stephanie, Heather and her companion, Elizabeth, Corey Trujillo and his wife, Melissa all of Rio Rancho, father, Jose T. Trujillo of Española, sisters, Vitalia Serrano and her husband, Tony of Grand Junction, CO, Maryann Vigil of Española, Piedad Chavez and her husband, Jose of Española, Ruth Cordova and her husband, Donny of Rio Chama, Lupe Gonzales and her husband, Simon of Grand Junction, CO, brothers, Arturo Trujillo and his wife, Cathy of Chimayo, Raymond Trujillo and Connie of Coyote, Gabriel Trujillo and his wife, Geraldine of San Pedro, Gonzalo Trujillo and his wife, Barbara of Santa Cruz, John Trujillo and his wife, Debbie of Rio Rancho, Teddy Trujillo and his wife, Nora of Santa Cruz, Paul Trujillo and Idalia of Alcalde, Karl Trujillo and his wife, Christina of Rio Rancho, grandchildren, Alyssa, Ethan, Aliya, Brielle, Jude, Jakob all of Rio Rancho, mother-in-law, Fela Apodaca of Seboyeta, sister-in-law, Elisa Apodaca of Seboyeta and many extended relatives and friends. Mr. Trujillo was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia, maternal grandparents, Juan Luis and Juanita Rodriguez, paternal grandparents, Gonzalo and Celina Trujillo, father-in-law, Benjamin Apodaca, nephew, Shawn Trujillo, uncle, Apolinario Trujillo, aunt, Manuelita Trujillo, aunt, Tommie Gallegos, aunt, Sally Gallegos and Holivero Apodaca. Visitation will be on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6:45 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:15 p.m. by Los Hermanos. Final visitation will be on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Cemetery, Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Julian Herrera, Aaron Jacobson, Russell Trujillo, Glenn Trujillo, Patricio Chavez and Lorenzo Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Maldonado and Curtis Trujillo.
