Celebration of Life Services for Alice will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012, at 6:00 P.M. at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St. Davenport.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until service time.
Private burial will take place on Tuesday at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport.
Alive Elaine Crownover was born January 23, 1925, in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Ray and Mamie (Tizzard) Crownover. She was united in marriage to Sterlin Feeney, February 28, 1945 in Kingman, AZ. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Alice was last employed as a receptionist and fund raiser at the Davenport Museum of Art. She was an avid sports fan and genealogist.
Memorials may be made to Special Olympics or the Salvation Army.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Carol and Bob Border, and a daughter Lucinda Resnick all of Davenport, a son Mike Feeney, Davenport, sons and daughters in law, Mark and Nancy Feeney, Bettendorf, Kevin and Patsy Feeney, and Chris and Debbie Feeney, all of Davenport; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a brother Ray Crownover, Coal Valley, IL.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, a brother and a grandson Jeffry Border. May they rest in peace.
