John P. Davis, 83, of Vale Summit, died yesterday at his home.
A lifelong resident of Vale summit, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mary Ellen (Loar) Davis. Mr. Davis was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his widow, Della (Carr) Davis; two sons Theodore Davis, Indian Head, and Lloyd Davis Vale Summit; three daughters, Mrs. Harold C. Meek Vale summit; Mrs. George A. Goodwin, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Wade Berg, Hagerstown; 14 grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Durst funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by Rev. Louis L. Emerick. Interment will be Frostburg Memorial Park.
