Sylvester Davis, 59, retired coal miner, died yesterday at Miners' Hospital where he had been a patient for a week. His wife, the former Miss Mary Filer, died in December, 1940
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Albert Custer, Midland; Donald, James and Pearl, at home.
He was a brother of Frank Davis, this city; John Davis, Vale Summit, Howard Davis, Midland, and Mrs. Mary E. Shaffer, Jacksonville, Fla.
The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home, this city.
