She was born February 1, 1891, in the Town of Edmeston, the daughter of Andrew and Eva (Burton) Carleton. She was married to Charles H. Ward on February 1, 1919, in Garrattsville. She was a member of the Garrattsville Methodist Church, Jewel Chapter, OES, Morris and Burlington Grange. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Gregory of South Amherst, Ohio; Mrs. Irene Hand of Unadilla, RD, and Mrs. Lois Stafford of New Lisbon; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mina Rose of Edmeston ...
