"The funeral services for Eli S. Gabbert will be held this Monday, beginning at one-thirty o'clock, in Warnica's chapel. The Reverend Claude H. Lorimer will officiate. Burial will take place in Masonic Cemetery.


Eli S. Gabbert, who lived on Route 5 (Box 600), died Friday morning. He had been a resident of Olympia for the past 33 years. Prior to coming to Olympia, he resided in Montana. He was born in Rushville, Missouri, October 20, 1863, and would have celebrated his eighty-sixth birthday this October. Mrs. Gabbert died in this city July 29, 1933.


Mr. Gabbert is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willie R. Sackett and Mrs. Mabel Harpel, both of Olympia; two sons, Harry M. Gabbert of Great Falls, Montana, and Ellis E. Gabbert of Spokane; three older sisters, Mrs. Laura Gabbert of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Dosha Wisler and Mrs. America Chappel, both of Troy, Kansas; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren."
