DEATH OF FORMER RESIDENT
Nancy Rebecca Yates, was born July 24, 1849 near, White Cloud, and died February 5, 1917, age 68 years, She was married to Charles H. Kemp, April 3, 1872 at Fredonia. To this Union was born eight children, three boys and five girls. Two son and one daughter have preceded her to the grave, ??? The children living ???? Maggie Thompson, of Heitonville, Ind. Mrs. Ola Paimer, of Brdford, Mrs. Bertha Lyons and Mrs. Hattie Kurts, of Leavenworth, and Roy Kemp, of Mt. Carmel. In her youth she united with the U. B. Church and after her marriage she became a member of the M. E. Church and remained a constant member until the Master called her home. Funeral service were conducted from the M. E. Church Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. E. N. Rcsier and interment was made in Ceder Cemetery - Leavenworth Item.
