She married Gray Gene Loftin (b. October 15, 1817 in North Carolina and d. November 07, 1864 in Wilimington Military Hospital, Wilmington North Carolina) on August 01, 1839 in Davidson County, NC (Bondsman: Nathan Thompson).

She was the mother of Julius Ceasar Loftin, Mary Jane Loftin, Jemimia Adeline Loftin, Alundah (Lundy) Loftin, Frances M. Loftin, Daniel Rufus Loftin, Jonathan Columbus Loftin, Burrell Wood Loftin, Ida Loftin, Lewis Jones Loftin, Thomas Gray Loftin, Nancy A. Loftin and two unnamed babies.
