(Stephanie) Castleman; grandchildren, Danielle, Tamara & Cassandry; great grandchildren, Kyra, Hallie, Connor, Carson & Braelyn; and sisters, Ruth Gordon & Lida Belle Norris. Visitation is today (Tues.), 5-8 pm, at Argos UMC & Wed. from 10 am-12 noon at Poplar Grove UMC, Culver, followed by services at noon. Earl-Grossman Funeral Home is handling arrangements. .

She was born on August 3, 1930 in Argos, Indiana to Frank Orange Cowen and Hallie Belle Lowry and lived all of her life in the Argos community.
On August 28, 1949 at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, Culver, Indiana she married Rex P. Castleman.
Betty work as a switchboard operator for the Argos Telephone Company, then went to work at the State Exchange Bank in Culver, Indiana for 21 years.
She was a member of the Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and attended the Argos United Methodist Church; and the weekly Bunco & Domino Club.
She was a graduate of Argos High School class of 1949.
She is survived by her Husband – Rex Castleman of Argos, Indiana
Sons – John D. Castleman of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Andrew J Castleman and wife Stephanie of Carmel, Indiana
Grandchildren – Danielle, Tamara, Cassandra
Great-Grandchildren – Kyra, Hallie, Connor, Carson, and Braelyn
2 Sisters – Ruth Gordon of Plymouth, Indiana; Lida Belle Norris of Argos, Indiana
