She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents, John T. and Nellie Crandall Burt; her brother, Taylor Burt; a sister, Marjorie; and a granddaughter, Rebecca.
Nadine was active in her LDS Ward and served for many years in the 5th Ward Primary. She loved plays and was active in the community producing and enjoying the talent that Springville has to offer. She was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and gave her lesson four days before she entered the hospital. She was a substitute teacher at Grant Elementary School and taught reading at the school for many years. She worked at the BYU Bookstore as a cashier and loved to be around and meet the students and faculty. She loved flowers and springtime, warm weather and yard sales.
Funeral services will be held in the Springville 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 245 S. 600 E., Springville on Wednesday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior to the services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
We wish to thank the many nurses and doctors at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for their kind and compassionate care. We also wish to thank Norma McConnell for her love and devoted service.
