Nathaniel Sr. WINSOR married Olive SOULE 19d 1m 1768 in Duxbury. Town records in Duxbury show that Nathaniel died 17d 10m 1840 but his gravestone at the Mayflower Cemetery shows he died 17d 10m 1839.
Nathaniel Winsor, Sr., was among the first entrepreneurs in Duxbury to commence the construction of fishing schooners on a large scale just after the American Revolution.
His father, Samuel Winsor, began building small fishing vessels on Clark's Island in Plymouth Bay in the 1740s.
