Name says Jana Heisicka on gravestone with the death year as 1903 and the surname Heisick at the bottom of tombstone. However, this is not true. Her real name is Anna Centko, which is her married name (maiden name unknown) who died in 1902 and she is the mother of Anna (Centko) Heisick. Anna Centko came to America to live with her daughter (Anna Centko Heisick) and son in law (John Heisick Sr). Anna Centko's husband died in Slovakia and is buried there. They probably inscribed the name Heisicka relating to the Heisick family since nobody would know her identity. The year 1903 was possibly the year the gravestone was made. Holy Cross church records state that she died 6 May 1902 in Fergus Falls, MN. Also, the Fergus Falls State Hospital (where Anna Centko died) has the same death date as the church.
