Lee Sherman Cantrell, 69, died Thursday [May 24, 1960] at the Community Hospital in Glasgow, after a long illness. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Docie Wright Cantrell; 2 step-children, Mrs. Leora Gentry and Willie Kidd, Greensburg; 4 sisters, Mrs. Lula Milby, Greensburg, Mrs. Bessie Dunn, Hodgenville, Mrs. Maudie McCubbins, Louisville, Mrs. Vivie Pollard, Eastern, IL; 3 brothers, Rev. N.L. Cantrell, Robert Cantrell, Greensburg, Sam Cantrell; a half-brother, Rev. Verlin Cantrell, Hodgenville. Funeral services were held Thursday at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. A.A. Farris officiating. Burial was in Milby Cemetery. His nephews were pallbearers.
