Mrs. Lois Foskey Wynn, age 85, of Glenwood died Tuesday, October 16, 2012.

Mrs. Wynn was born in Wheeler County and was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis N. Foskey, Sr. and Maude Day Foskey; and her husband, Nathaniel Alexander Wynn, Jr. She moved to Clemson, S.C. with her husband and lived there for about nine years before moving to Bowie, Maryland where she lived for many years and was a founding member of Village Baptist Church. After her husband retired in 1979, she returned to Wheeler County and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Wynn was a homemaker and made lifelong friends everywhere she lived.

Survivors include her children, Nat (Donna Lee) Wynn and Fred Wynn, all of Glenwood, Kay Stevenson, Dublin, and Holly (Amy Nerenberg) Wynn, Atlanta; grandchildren, Christina (Ron) Lowery and Jimmy (Anna Lee Hall) Stevenson; 3 great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Lowery, SarahBeth Lowery and JoyAnna Lowery; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 19 in Beulah Baptist Church with Reverends Wayne Durden, Burien Smith and Timothy Hegerich officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sammons Funeral Home and may be reached at 1741 Hwy 19 North, Glenwood.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice Care, 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021.
