Frank married Genevieve Wengler on March 7, 1916 in St. Mary's Church in Remsen, Iowa. They lived in Remsen for four years as Frank worked in the lumber business. They moved in the spring of 1920 to a farm one mile north of Remsen. They lived on other farms and in 1942 bought the farm immediately northeast of Remsen.
Frank married Lilly E. Stortz on April 7, 1958 in Woodstock, Minnesota. She died January 1, 1965.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, and his two sons, LeRoy and Donald.
