Floyd (Buster) Elswick, 90, Stella, died at 4:26 a.m. Wednesday at Cardwell Memorial Hospital, Stella, where he had been a patient four weeks.

Mr. Elswick was born Oct. 3, 1884, at Rocky Comfort and had lived most of his life in the Stella area. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wandell Merritt, Stella, four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Kennedy, Stella, Mrs. Hazel Knoonce, Sandy, Utah, Miss Jewell Elswick, Joplin, and Mrs. Amy Morris, Neosho. three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. The Rev. Ronald Ridenour will officiate. Burial will be in the Hazelgreen Cemetery, northwest of Stella.
