She died at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness.

Wilma was a lifetime member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Athens and a former member of the South Warren Community Church. She was a former member of the choir, and served as a deaconess. She was the past president of the Page Manor Association. Wilma proudly volunteered in many organizations but she especially enjoyed her time spent teaching with the AWANAS and her participation in the Foster Grandparent Program. She lovingly crocheted blankets which were then given to her grandchildren. Wilma also enjoyed going on van trips.

She was predeceased by her husband Ernest L. Freeman, brother Floyd Bidlack, Jr., and sister Lucy Mae Corey.

Wilma was survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Robert Linko of Avoca, PA, Darlene Wells and the late Charles Wells, Sr. of Sayre, PA, and Velma and Stanley Sobiech, Sr. of Sayre, PA, son Howard Dean of York, PA, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Phoebe Keeney of Wyalusing, PA and Harrlee Diamon of Little Meadows, PA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Freas and Bernice Freeman, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous special friends and extended family.
