Charles served in World War II in the Army. He was a lifelong machinist, retiring from Facet Enterprises in the late 1980s.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Esther Cole Boughton; his two brothers, Edward and Arthur; and his son, Charles Jr. He is also survived by his stepson, Phil Rogers, and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A time of gathering with family and friends will be Thursday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad St., Waverly.
The celebration of Charles' life will be held at the Blauvelt Funeral Home on Thursday with full military honors at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
Burial will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills.
