Mrs. Ruth Annie Moody, 65, died today at 9 a.m. in Ransom Memorial Hospital where she was a patient almost a year. She had lived in Osage, Douglas, and Franklin Counties all her life.
Born Nov. 21, 1892, at Overbrook, she was the daughter of John and Clara (Holden) Tregemba. She was married Sept. 6, 1913, at Overbrook, to Lloyd W. Moody, who died in 1951. She was a member of Princeton Methodist Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Avis Blakeman and Mrs. Ruth Ann Kaub, RFD 4; Mrs. Frances Pippenger, Ottawa; Mrs. Alice Cox, Deerfield; Mrs. Joy Christie, Wellsville; and Mrs. Ethel McGinty, Manhattan; two sons, Harry, RFD1; and Lloyd L., Oberlin; 30 grandchildren and two brothers, William Tregemba and Eugene Tregemba, Overbrook.
Services will be conducted from Towner's Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Mease officiating. Burial will be in Valley Brook Cemetery north of Michigan Valley.
