Alice Louise Cox, 95, of Twin Falls passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Chardonnay Assisted Living in the arms of her daughter (Julie) and granddaughter (Allyson).

Alice was born in Independence, MO on July 17, 1926 to Ruth Annie (Tregemba) Moody and Lloyd W. Moody. She moved with her parents and siblings to Eastern Kansas at the age of 3.

Alice received her education there, graduating from Wellsville High School in 1943. Alice received her teaching certificate at the age of 17 and taught in a one room school house for a short time during the war.

Alice married Clifford Cox on August 30, 1944 at Baldwin City, KS. He passed away September 19, 1982.

After retiring in 1993 from the Ardmore Public Library in Ardmore, OK, Alice moved to Twin Falls, ID. She then moved to Buhl where she lived for many years.

Alice was a devout Christian and was a member of the Buhl United Methodist Church.

In 2012, she moved back to Twin Falls, ID. Alice had many friends and had a love for college football and college basketball. Her two favorite teams were Boise State & Kansas State. She also loved traveling, reading, puzzles, playing Bunco and Skipbo. Alice was known for the amazing and funny stories she told to her friends while sitting around the table playing cards...

Alice is preceded in death by her husband; son (Duane Clifford); 2 brothers - Harry Moody and Lloyd L. Moody; 5 sisters - Avis Blakeman, Frances Pippinger, Ruth Ann Kaub, Joy Christie and Ethel McGinty.

There will be an inurnment and graveside service at the Wellsville Cemetery in Wellsville, KS on Saturday August 21, 2021 at 1pm.
