Daughter of William J. Harris and 2nd wife Elizabeth Lake. She had one sister, Stella Harris born ca 1869.

Mr. Harris was married November 15, 1867, to Miss Elizabeth Lake, a step daughter of Judge Heath, of Howard county, and a most worthy lady. Of this union two children were born, one of whom, Stella L., is living, but Ada, the other, is dead. Mr. Harris (died November 12, 1881.

My Note: 2nd wife Elizabeth Lake, was the daughter of Daniel T Lake and Mary P Turpin who married 18 Aug 1831 in Marion Co MO but later divorced. Mary P. (Turpin) Lake married 2nd on 24 May 1858 William Richard Heath, a judge in Howard Co. MO. Daniel T. Lake died in 1861 and is buried in Byers Cemetery, Alma Arkansas.
