James William Parker, 52 years old, former resident of Neosho, died Saturday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. June Blalock, Miami, Okla., having been ill for a considerable time.
Six children survive Mr. Parker, Betty Taylor, Naomi Taylor and Helen Dudley, Wellington, Kan., Jimmy Parker and Mrs. June Blalock, Miami, Okla., Myrtle Parker, Chillicothe, Mo.
Funeral services are incomplete at this time.
Mr. Parker was an employee of the Empire District Electric Company in Neosho at one time, and has a number of friends here who regret to learn of his death.
The body will lie in state at Thompson's Funeral Home.
