Clarence Edgett, aged 84, a farmer and Fly Creek resident for more than 50 years, died Wednesday afternoon of this week at the Clark Nursing Home, Richfield Springs.
Mr. Edgett was born on May 8, 1870, at Fly Creek, son of Peter and Lany (Miller) Edgett. He married the former Addie A. Fish on September 18, 1909.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Lulu Tafel, Jackson Heights, a stepson, Lewis R, Ellis. Herkimer, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday ..... Burial will be in Fly Creek Cemetery.
