Elsie Virginia Anderson , 83, of Lancaster, died Sept. 9 at her residence.
Born Sept. 28, 1926 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late William and Mamie Tincher Frye. She was a homemaker, a member of the Stanford Baptist Church and the widow of Virgil Anderson .
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; a son, Virgil Bryant Anderson ; and two sisters, Rebecca McQueary and Katherine Johnson.
Survivors include sons, Claude, Jerry, Eddie, Larry, Bobby (Edna) and Danny (Gina) Anderson ; daughters, Patricia Goins, Sue (Tony) Coleman, Ruby (Jack) Lear and Charlotte (Donald) Montgomery; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
