Reinette Marie Scheopner, 43, Goodland, died Wed. June 17, 1998, at the St. Anthony Hospital, Denver.

She was born April 12, 1955 in Oakley to Joseph C. and Walburga R. (Dickman) Albers. She graduated from Oakley High School and Kansas State University.

She married Joe Scheopner on Feb. 23, 1979. After working 16 years for the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, she became involved in the family farm and rental business.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and was an active organist, lector and teacher. She was a 4-H project leader.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters Rita and Abby Scheopner both of the home; her mother, Oakley; four brothers: Fred Albers, Oakley; Bob Albers, Garden City; Henry Albers, Oakley; Bernard Albers, Houston; and six sisters: Carla Deckert, Topeka; Rosanna LaBarge, Oakley; Ann Albers, Pittsburgh, PA.; Frances Ryan, Colby; Mary Jean Delzeit, Dodge City; and Joan Lobmeyer, Garden City.

She was precededin death by her father and three brothers, Joseph Jr., Frank and Ronnie.

Services were on Sat. June 20, at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Goodland, with Father Daryl Olmstead officiating; burial in the Goodland Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Lupus Foundation of Colorado.
