Frank Anthony Albers, born July 28, 1940 was killed in a one vehicle accident Aug. 14, 1977 near Flagler, Colo. He was the son of Joe C. and Burgie Albers.

Frank grew up on a farm north of Oakley, Kans. and attended Oakley grade school and was graduated from Oakley high school in 1958.

On Jan. 10, 1961 he married Betty Lou Flax, daughter of Carl and Marie Flax, Oakley. To this union four children were born, Carla Marie, Michael Shane, Frank Jr. and Michael Shannon.

During his adult life Frank lived in Oakley, California, Indiana, Kentucky and was presently at home in Aurora, Colo.

Frank is survived by his children, wife, parents, brothers-Bernard, Henry, Bob, and Fred; sisters-Joan, Mary Jean, Frances, Ann, Rosanne, Carla and Reinette; and 35 nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Joe C. Jr. and Ronnie, and two nephews preceded him in death.

Services were held Aug. 17 from St. Joseph's Catholic church, Oakley. It was Frank's request to be cremated and his final resting place will be at St. Joseph's cemetery, Oakley.

Arrangements were made through Henderick's Funeral Home, Burlington, Colo. and Koster Funeral Home, Oakley.
