GREENSBORO---Mrs. Ruth T. Beck, 82, died on Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 25, at Holly Hill Memorial Cemetery in Thomasville. Ruth was born in Guilford County on April 17, 1927. She retired as a secretary with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lily Smith Tucker, and her husband, George Franklin Beck. (Survivors omitted for privacy) The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. tonight, Sunday, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Service in Pleasant Garden.
