Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Key Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Williams and the Rev. Jimmy Holman officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mrs. Newman was born May 4, 1913, in Rockdale to Eugene and Mary Elizabeth Eiland. She married Daniel A. Newman on Feb. 20, 1937, in Cameron. They made their home seven miles north of Perryton until July 1964, when they moved to Balko, Okla. They also lived on a farm north of Bryan's Corner until 2000, when they moved into Perryton. She lived in the home until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008, her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Lanora Reynolds and husband Floyd of Perryton and Kathy Snyder and husband Gearld of Eunice, N.M.; three sons, Joe D. Newman of Balko, Bill E. Newman and wife Vee of Guymon, Okla., and Dale Newman and wife Candee of Stillwater, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be to Key Heights Building Fund, P.O. Box 923, Perryton, TX 79070.
