He worked in Rockdale area with McAlester Fuel Co. until 1945 when he moved to Channelview where he was employed as a steelworker with Armco Steel Corp. until his retirement. Member of Masonic Lodge 1304 in Channelview and member of Channelview Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by an infant son, James W. Eiland and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
