Roy was the son of Clifford and Veryle (Spain) Anderson. He married Karen Marie (Loberg) in 1960 and they had two sons: Robert Dale and Clifford Emil.

Roy Anderson
Roy Carrol Anderson, 63, of Manhattan, died Monday morning, Nov. 7, at his residence.
He was born on June 25, 1942, in Cassville, Mo. the son of Clifford and Veryle (Spain) Anderson. His father died when he was very young and his mother then married Lewis Wisdom.
Mr. Anderson had been a Manhattan resident since 1959, where he was a sheet metal worker, working for a number of years at Kansas State University.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Sheet Metal Workers Local 77.
His family provided the following information: He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, fishing and hunting. He also was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed tinkering on old cars. He had a very strong passion for life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
On July 12, 1960, in Manhattan, he married the former Karen M. Loberg. She survives of the home. Also surviving are two sons, Robert D. Anderson and his wife Christine of Wamego, and Clifford E. Anderson and his wife Julia of Manhattan. Also surviving are two brothers, Jim Anderson and Bud Thomas, both of Cassville, Mo. and seven grandchildren: Brandy, Kara, Levi, Tanner, Nicole, Robert and Andrea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, four brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel with Pastor Pat Weyrauch officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
