More than one infant by the name of Long is buried here in graves marked by fieldstones. They belonged to Calvin J. Long and his wife Emily Baker Long, daughter of Marshall and Elizabeth Boddie May Baker.

Calvin Calvin served in Co. G, 47th Regiment of the CSA and was wounded at Gettysburg. He died after being evacuated to Richmond, Virginia. Emily lived on the Baker property for many years afterward.
