Obituary, THE RECORD - May. 19, 2006 HORST, Velorous - Peacefully went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, May 18, 2006, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus. Velorous Horst, in her 49th year, of RR2, Alma.Dear daughter of Edwin and Esther (Brubacher) Horst of RR2, Alma; sister of Arlene and Melvin Martin of RR1, Linwood, Richard and Lois Horst of RR3, Listowel, Murray and Sharon Horst of RR2, Alma, Stuart and Susan Horst of Elmira, Rosemary Horst of RR2, Alma. Fondly remembered by her nine nieces and five nephews.Predeceased by one sister and one nephew in infancy.The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira today (Friday) from 2 until 8 p.m. Transfer will then be made to her home RR2, Alma where a family service will be held on Saturday, May 20 at 9 a.m. then to Maple View Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
