Wife of Obadiah Clark Champlain. Obadiah's father was born Paul Champlin, a 6th generation Champlin in America. Paul had the spelling of his surname changed to Champlain, believing he was correcting an earlier spelling error.
Obadiah is from a different branch of the Champlin family than is Emmett Champlin who is buried nearby and the Champlin's buried in the Champlin Cemetery at Westfield. These two families descend from different sons of the Immigrant Jeffrey Champlin.
