Son of Joseph Borkovetz and Mary (Zehren) Borkovetz, brother of Earl and Florance, Edward and his brother spent part of their childhood in the Chicago Orphan Asylum. Edward registered for the draft in 1917/18 and at that time was living with his father. His occupation is listed as a Rivet Heater at Vierling Steel in Chicago. It is not known exactly when or where he died. He is buried beside his father at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois.
