ღGreat Grandmotherღ

Thank You for visiting our dear Grandmother Annie. Your visit and thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. God bless.

༺⊰❁ Angeline Rust Simpson was the daughter of Albert G. "Al" "Arkansas" (note, this is not the GB Arkansas Rust) and Sarah Ann "Sallie" "Ann" (Hess) Rust, his second wife, and was the wife of Henry Simpson. Together they had two daughters:
Cora Simpson who married George Bussmann, and Elva Simpson who married Percy Lester Sterling.
Gr-Grandma Annie was a member of the Norwood Christian Church.
She was buried in the Amelia Odd Fellows Cemetery between Percy Sterling, son-in-law, and Elva Simpson Sterling, daughter. There is no headstone, only a corner stone with an "S" carved into it. She is buried to the right of the round mausoleum, which is now used as a tool shed.
Note: The round mausoleum has now been completely removed. Sad to see it go. All that remains of it now are the photos taken of it.

May our dearest Grandma Annie ever rest in the heavenly peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⊱ಌ⊰To My Grandma⊱ಌ⊰

A blooming flower;
A life divine;
To share God's sunshine here.

A life of deeds;
Fulfilling needs;
With naught a dread or fear.

The light of dawn spread on today,
And flushed to midday bloom;
Setting forth in gloried ray,
Weaving life's rare loom.

Sunset glowing in life's west,
Fading into dusk;
A flower of life fades, slowly too,
And sheds life's dying husk.

The gates of Heaven flung aside,
A soul has entered in,
With Christ the Saviour to abide
Untouched e'er moved by sin.
