Antoine married Catherine Berger (or Burger) in Lutzelbourg in May 1825. They had 9 children: Antoine, Marie Claire (died as child), Daniel, Anna Marie, Amand, Madeleine, Charles, Caroline, Rosalie.
Antoine immigrated to the US around 1855. His wife Catherine is presumed to also have emigrated although no record has been found yet of her death. A suggestion of her presence in the US was recorded on the ledger showing Antoine's death in 1878 in Millville NJ: he was noted as being married in the Cumberland County NJ death index, not widowed or single.
Antoine lived with his son Daniel and his family in Millville NJ. Daughters Madeleine (Magdalena) and Caroline also lived there initially. Sons Charles, Antoine, Amand and daughter Rosalie settled in Philadelphia PA. Anne Marie and her family settled in Pittsburgh PA.
Antoine died in April 1878 in Millville. He was buried in "the Catholic Cemetery there" which we presume is Holy Cross Cemetery. He has many descendants in the US today.

Gravesite Details
Gravesite not yet found. There are many early unrecorded burials attributed to this cemetery due to transition from the "old" Catholic cemetery there to the "new" Catholic cemetery.
